This post is seeing if there's not something better out there. Any ideas on why and what to try to fix that I've attached what skitch captures and what the default screen capture tool on mac captures (screenshot). By using some "snipping tool" (built into windows) and some clipmate (separate product but has basic screen grab capabilities) I've been able to do most of what I want. Recently Skitch is only capturing the desktop background and not the windows currently open. Now I've been pretty pleased with Skitch. Xnip is a handy and minimal screenshot tool for Mac that lets you capture the screen in different modes: full-screen, windowed, multi-app, and scrolling.
